Centura Riding School

My Daughter is 11 years old and horse obsessed. The staff at Centura have taught her so much. The horses are so well looked after.

Hard to get a hold of the office to even book.. Got a text saying see you at 7.30am.. Internet says they open at 8am.. so I assumed I go in to sign paperwork and get kitted up from 7.30am for an 8am lesson...as soon as I get there, the office lady was not friendly, handed me papers said to fill them out and said go round the corner to get your helmet and boots... I went round the corner and no one was there.. I had to find and fit helmet and boots myself out of many different pairs on shelves. I then get to the instructor who tells me I only get 20 mins because I'm late?!! I just lost $25 and 10 mins of riding because of incompetence in organisation. This is a very poor way to run a business. No one even mentioned to get there earlier and how much earlier to complete paperwork etc... I haven't been here prior and am already not happy after one visit.

I started riding here last year and it has improved my riding so much! All the horses and ponies are well tempered and looked after. A great place to learn to ride. I really recommend it to all levels of riding ability.

I started riding here when I was 18, in the 8 years I have been with this riding school I have learnt a lot. I went from a bush hack rider to a qualified riding coach. My 7 year old niece now has lessons here and loves the ponies and instructors. A lovely safe environment for anyone at any level to learn more about these amazing animals.

I've been riding with Centura for four or five years now and it is honestly the best riding center I've ever been to! The instructors are super kind and give you helpful tips to help you improve your riding. They make sure that you only get put on ponies/horses that you can handle. Centura is really safety conscious and they love seeing riders learn. I'm really glad to be riding with Centura :)

Superb place to introduce children safely to riding and then learn the skills required to progress through each level. Horses are matched to rider size and ability. Not the cheapest and you will see why.
